Is it possible to break away from Wubi?

Ive had wubi since 8.10 and now ive upgraded to 9.04. The host OS that it is on is giving me trouble and I want to reinstall. Im afraid by doing so , my ubuntu will be lost forever. Is there a way to break, to separate for ubuntu to be on its own?

Hi, if you are wanting to move Ubuntu to its own partition you can use LVPM (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WubiGuide#How%20do%20I%20migrate%20to%20a%20real%2 0partition,%20and/or%20get%20rid%20of%20Windows%20entirely?) to move Ubuntu to its own partition.
