Hi to all

I installed ubuntu nbr 9.04 on a 8Gb usb, as in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UNR/Installation/Easy

I run it, everything is ok.
I install new applications, such as kexy, it's ok.
Reboot, no kexy anymore.
How do I install new applications ON the usb permanently?

From the link you posted:

Booting from such a USB key will let you install Ubuntu Netbook Remix on your device.
Sounds like that gets you the UNR Live CD type image, which is not persistent, but can be used to install to another drive.

thanks. any link to howto install a persistent one?
shall I boot from live and then use "create usb boot disk" ?

just checked page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LiveUsbPendrivePersistent
It seems I need to use "USB Startup Disk Creator system tool" to create a new live+persistent+usb distro

Method 0: Automatically create Live USB system

Jaunty (9.04) provide USB Startup Disk Creator system tool. It uses the usb-creator to create USB bootable startup disk on USB drive.
