Whenever I try to run Firefox on a Windows XP, Vista or 7 PC, it always completely locks the machine up. It happens on any PC I use, not just my own. I have tried it with and without firewalls/antivirus, with and without addons, and it always happens!
Nobody else I know who uses Firefox has this problem!

And the stupidest thing is, it never, ever crashes when I use it on Ubuntu! WTF??

I have tried it with & without addons/firewall/antivirus/flash/java/shockwave. It makes no difference.


Where did you get your build from?

It's happened to me for ages with any build since 2.something.
