Is the Firefox 3.5 that is on the Ubuntu official repositories now the final version?

I want to upgrade to the final version, but I've got to make sure that is indeed the final version.

Yes. This is the officially release version. It still calls itself shiretoko in order to distinguish itself from firefox-3.0 for users who want both installed, but other than the branding, it's firefox-3.5.
