View Full Version : Acer one (AOA 150 Ab) trackpad issues

complete nubee question, I`ve installed 9.04 netbook remix and I can't get the trackpad on my AOA to work properly.

I find that if I use the trackpad whilst booting then all seems ok with the left hand side mouse button.
The right hand side button never works.

If I don't use the trackpad whilst booting then I can't select icons on the systembar (at the top) but the pointer still moves and I can still select programs from say internet or office. But when the program opens I can't seem to click "in the program" (e.g. address bar in firefox), its as if the mouse clicks only work on the netbook desktop application wrapper.
if say i open firefox, I can't close it with the mouse, I have to use alt+F4.

I`ve tried Fn+F7 to disable the trackpad then re-enable it, it doesn;t solve the problem.
an external mouse, seems to work, until you use the trackpad..........

any help would be gr8

I think its a synaptic touchpad problem, anyone have any ideas how to use a generic driver ?
