Any ideas guys? I'm on Jaunty, destkop Q6600 with NVIDIA GTS250. Previously had a 9800GTX+ and had the same problem. I have compiz doing expo, scale, window preview, gtk window decoration, no compiz PPAs just standard repo edition.
Basically.. I'm using it for a random period of time when compiz is no more, I seem to end up in metacity. I'm not 100% sure how, but it happens. I use my fusion icon to put it back into compiz and it works. Apps run at normal speed, but expo gets jerky as hell. Scale is fine, window preview is fine, but expo is slow. Now it may be that everything is slowing and I dont notice due to my excellent hardware and only expo uses enough power for me to notice but it's a tad disconcerting and I tend to save my work, Ctrl Alt Backspace and get back in. It's not a major pain in the **** but it is annoying. Any tips?
