Hey guys, today I noticed that I had 2 processes running with the same name compiz.real...
Computer is the Gateway p-7805u with Ubuntu 9.04/32bit
One was sleeping/running depending on how I was interacting with the compiz effects, cpu 0-12%, using about 54.8mb of memory, and waiting channel 'do_poll.
The second one was running with cpu 48-50%, using about 54.8mb of memory, and waiting channel '0'.
I tried to kill the second one through terminal with 'kill 20571' but it wouldn't die, so I opened up the system monitor and killed it through there. Nothing happened. Everything seemed to work fine. I restarted the machine and everything was normal.
What do you guys suspect this was?
