I have been searching on the Internet for the instruction on creating a bittorent box. I found this article: http://nerdica.com/?p=30 which contains the features I am looking for. I was wondering if their is a more up-to-date explanation of a similar article or if not, would this work on ubuntu 9.04 with the latest version of Azureus.

Im not sure why you wish to go through the trouble of setting this up. Why not just set up transmission (or your favorite torrent manager) on your desktop? I have transmission running and it takes up almost no system resources, and saves to an internal tb hdd. It just seems like extra work to me:)

If your pc is using too much power, I would just install Ubuntu on another box and configure your torrent client on it. That article seems to add extra work for you. Also if you only have one monitor you can get a kvm switch or just ssh into the computer from your desktop to manage it.
