View Full Version : [ubuntu] I'm having trouble connecting to WPA in Ubuntu
July 7th, 2009, 06:11 PM
My wireless connection broke down. I Can't log in with a secure (WPA) connection.
I have never had this problem before. It works fine with Windows XP.
I think perhaps it may be that Seahorse keyring thing.

Has it worked at all? If it did work, what happened before it stopped working.
Please use a thread title that describes the problem, instead of trying to blackmail people into helping you.

Do you have a choice of using the older kernel when you log onto Ubuntu? I think some people, including myself, are having this problem because of a kernel update. Mine still won't work, although it did before the update, so I have just been logging on to the older kernel. It does work when security is off, but not with WPA encryption. I keep checking back here to see if any solutions- someone posted something the other day for same problem, but did not work for me.
