Desktop effects are lost after hibernate

I have 2 22' LCD and nVidia Corporation GeForce 9500 GT 512MB

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GeForce 9500 GT (rev a1)

kubuntu 9.04 64 bit
Operating System: Linux-x86_64
NVIDIA Driver Version: 180.44

I often loose desktop effects after hibernate or sleep.

If I open "Desktop Effect" dialog I can't enable effects until reboot.

Is there remedy or at least known problem that I can monitor and wait for solution?

I was googling and have not found similar problem.

Press <Alt>+<Shift>+<f12> to toggle desktop effects on / off.

It worked! But checkbox in Desktop Effects was not working saying can't enable desktop effects. Very strange.
