howdy,
I'm in the midst of upgrading from 8.04 LTS to 8.10 and my computer has froze. The update manager had downloaded about 1/2 of the new packages required, and then several error messages popped up. I can't read what they say, though, as they are all blank due to the screen freezing. I'm wondering if I turn the comp. off, if I will lose everything on it??
any suggestions would be great!!
