ok, i know this has nothing to do with ubuntu, but i don't know where else to go for help. heres what i want to do....

i recently got a new motherboard and everything seemed to hook up just right until i tried to hook up the front panel headphone/mic. anyway, i have nine pins on my motherboard: BACKOUT-L, BACKOUT-R, +5VA, GND, MIC, MIC-POWER, AUD-OUT-R, GND, AUD-OUT-L.

unfortunately, the plugs (or whatever you call them) are labled MIC-BIAS, MIC-IN, GND, Spkout R, Spkout L, Return R, Return L. Is there anyway i can make this work? if so, how?
