Firefox 3.5 upgrade

Has anyone else had trouble upgrading from 3.0.11? I have all the packages installed, iv uninstalled/reinstalled etc but the release notes continue to say 3.0.11. I havnt tried to compile the tarball yet, because generally synaptic or apt-get does the job. Any ideas? :-({|=

How did you upgrade from 3.0.11 to 3.5? As far as I can tell, 3.5 is not in the repos so you probably have to install it by hand, unpacking it somewhere. Then, you need to change to that directory before you run it or at least type in the whole path to that new version of firefox.
