I just upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04. After clicking Restart to finish the installation and then logging back in, I am immediately logged out and find myself back at the login window.
During the upgrade, I am asked if I want to replace the customized configuration file
/etc/gdm/gdm.conf
… even though I never modified it.
Also, I am installing it on my Intel Mac with Parallels.
