hibernate/suspend problems on satellite l300

hi,


i own a toshiba satellite l 300 laptop. i ve been using ubuntu since intrepid and recently upgraded to jaunty. i have been having probs with hibernate and suspend..


on giving any of these,the black screen appears,with a cursor blinking....
no matter how much time i wait the system will remain so..

please help...

I have a Toshiba L305 laptop too, the problem persists and I have been trying to find a solution for it but no luck. Apparently it is a known bug with Toshiba laptops and specially the L 3xx series. Launchpad has recognized this as a bug, hopefully they will find some solution for it.
