Alright, I dunno if this is a good place to be asking stuff like this, but I would really appreciate some input, I'd be thankful for any help I can get.

I have never built a computer before and thought I would give it a whirl. I recently bought this comp:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16856119012

and I was needing to buy a graphics card with a DVI output. Looking through a few, these looked good to me. The first seems a little on the low end:

and this one for possibly playing a few games (Nothing heavy, but maybe Portal or Half-life 2 at most):

First off, I just wanted to make sure these would even be compatible with The computers hardware and with ubuntu, and would anyone have any suggestions on which i should get, or if i should get something else? I'd hope to not go over $80. Any help, tips, or suggestions are greatly appreciated, I am pretty new to this, and want to make sure I'm on the right track. Oh, and will the power supply be an issue?

I'm pretty new too so take this with a grain of salt but, 150w is pretty low, and if you're putting in a graphics card you'll definitely need a bigger PSU. Not to mention the PSUs that come with cases are known to be of sub-par quality. Here is a link (http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp) to a PSU calculator that might help you out.

Alright, used that calculator and estemated the computers specs + hardware i have already put in, the recomended wattage for the lower video card was 120w, and the other was 123w, no card at all drops it to 89w. I knew it was going to take a bit more power, but wasn't expecting over a 30% increase. I also have a WD green HDD already in there with a 2gig stick of ram, do these specs seem at all accurate? and if so, am i still in the green on the power issue if i was to add a video card?
