I ordered an HP laptop over the weekend, and just noticed the hard drive comes equipped with HP ProtectSmart, which apparently protects the laptop in the event of a fall. In googling around, it seemed like there was some sort of software that went along with it (seems like a kind of stupid feature if it only works when the computer is turned on) and I was wondering if it was going to be an issue when I installed Linux. Any HP users out there who can clue me in on what exactly this is and if its Linux compatible?
