Hello, I've gone into, shall we say, a "retro groove" :lolflag: and I was wondering if anyone knows of telnet servers that offer certain services. Or any other online application that doesn't need a graphical interface.

For example, I've found a list of chess servers (http://www.tim-mann.org/ics.html) where you can play via telnet. So I was wondering if there are any other services of that kind, or search engines or any other thing :D

Thanks have a nice day

Telnet is an "old" protocool to conect to another computer. It lets you access certan applications or do certain stuff, you could think of it as the predecesor of SSH.
It's like an "online terminal"

LoL, idk im sure if you look around you are and the chess thing sounds cool, but i'd think there'd be security issue's opening up like that. Maybe playing with trusted pple you know personally would work fine.
