..or Air McNair as many called him.

Quarterback Steve McNair played 13 seasons in the NFL, 11 were with the Titans. He played his final two years with the Baltimore Ravens, retiring after the 2007 season.

• Honored as three-time Pro Bowler
• Shared league's MVP award with Peyton Manning in 2003
• Led Tennessee to Super Bowl XXXIV in 1999, the only such appearance in franchise history, where the Titans lost to the Rams 23-16

McNair, 36, suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville, police spokesperson Don Aaron said. A female victim was also found dead. Aaron said the woman has not been identified, pending notification of next of kin.

Death comes in threes, so are we expecting a matrix of 3x3 now that we have 2x3? I hope not, I think that's enough for a while.

Or worse yet, a cereal killer! Oh noes!!!111!

I was casually surfing earlier with a friend over and saw the name on CNN.com. I was going to look up who he was, but then I came over here and this thread's already explained that.

So, way to go UF! On top of everything, I see.

Dragos240: Thanks for bringing that up. I'd never heard of him until you mentioned him, but I do like jazz and will now have to check him out.

Rest in peace Steve. He was a great man, and a great quarterback.
