I've just installed Ubuntu to a fast IDE (SSD) disk , but when it boots it recognizes disks I have on a RAID controller (separate to the SSD) as two disks.
I believe this is because it is a soft raid, and I have installed dmraid, and run it manually with the option -ay and it activates the RAID array as another mount point but "Places" on the desktop still shows the original two disks.
How do I get dmraid to start at boot, mount the drive and show only the one raid drive in Gnome's "Places"?
Thanks!
