hd upgrade

Hi i got a new hd 120gb the old is 20gb.

I tried using my norton ghost 11, backup onto it. it started out from the hd as ext3, winds up ext2. ... crashes after gnome login.

so i'm left with hd to hd cp.

any ideas on how to do this so grub stil works an of course i cand boot off the thing.

Plug both of the drives in, and boot off a clonezilla cd then copy. Work better than ghost in my opinion.
