Gnome Global menu applet

Hi guys,
I'm trying the Global Menu applet and its quite neat. However, I can't seem to make it work with firefox. Is there's a solution?

Yes. Use Epiphany or Midori.

Yeah a few programs don't fully work with it.

it only works with gtk apps.. firefox looks the part but is actually not a gtk app

Firefox and OpenOffice were always problems for me, mainly because Firefox is written in XUL, and I believe OpenOffice is in Java Swing.
