I have a stuation that I did a Vista back up from a PC on my network and had to reformat one of my drives to NTFS so friggin Vista would perform the backup.
What I have is a samba server for file sharing and backups on my network. I also have a Neuros OSD (I highly recommend) that I have yet to hook up to my network so I can watch my saved movies from my samba server.
So my question is...
Will my NTFS drive cause any issues with either my network backups or my Neuros OSD? I havent seen any problems yet, but I dont want to lose everyting I have saved and I am currently using the drive as an external USB device.
I am slowly transitioning between Win and Linux. I have to use both since Win is everywhere and I am still learning Linux so please dont bash me and tell me to just completely switch to Linux (Ubuntu is awesome BTW).
