View Full Version : Wireless won't connect

July 2nd, 2009, 03:59 AM
Running an EeePC 1000h with UBN 8.04. Ethernet works fine. Tried to connect to the wireless at my brother's place last night (wpa2). He runs Ubuntu (9.04, I think) and it connected automatically for him. However, last night, I could only connect when the network was not hidden. As long as it was visible, it was fine. This morning I try go and connect, and there's nothing. It's got the two green balls and the spinny thing and it just keeps doing that for a minute or so before giving up. Any idea what's going on?

Alright, that's a bit weird. As long as my brother's desktop PC (Ubuntu 9.04) is online, I can connect wirelessly. Otherwise I need to connect through the ethernet.
