Right here on UbuntuForums, I mean. I keep mine on 40 posts per page. Ten posts a page is just way too small I reckons. It disrupts the thread too much. And I often see posts around the 20-30 range that ask questions that have already been answered ages ago. I find it gives me a much better understanding of what's going on in a thread. So how about you?

A few people opting for the 75 posts a page (Nightmare mode). I think I'll give it a whirl, too. Cheat codes work in Nightmare mode, right?

I don't understand the question.

I don't understand the question.

Well, if this post appears on page 2 for you, then you've gone wrong in life somewhere.

Oh, I understand now. Thanks XD

That's groovy, but if this thread ever gets +20 replies (doesn't look likely but hey), I just know someone is going to be asking the very same question you did. You see an awful lot of repetition when you browse the forums with more posts visible per page.

The default, 10.

That's groovy. And now for many people we're on page 2. Cue the "How do you change it? EDIT: nvm I found it," posts!

It was 40, but I changed it to 75.

When I had a 6mbit connection, I used 75. Now that I have a 1.5mbit connection, I stick to the default 10.

75. If I had the option to have more I would. I hate pages that make you arrow through constantly. That's why we have scroll wheels, PGUP/PGDOWN etc. Opera's inline find also helps get to things quickly.

Firefox's Autopager is a pretty good add-on for ultra-long threads. It ruins multiquoting, though.

The max in any forum (75 here). I'd rather wait to begin reading than have to wait to continue reading.

I kept the default setting of 10 posts per page. I have Greasemonkey installed with the AutoPagerize script so the next page loads while I read.

It was 10, but this thread made me adventurous and I'm trying 40 now. Whoo, it's exciting.

I use 40 posts per page. I hate having to click every 5 minutes. I'd rather that to be every 30 minutes to reduce wear on the mouse. :)

Agreed.

Wouldn't that just wear out your scroll wheel more? Mine already squeaks.

Now it's 75, now that this thread made me realize that I could set that. It's easier to roll a scroll wheel anywhere on the page, instead it aiming for a tiny little page number.

For those who couldn't find it at first:
Go to user CP. Hit edit options in the sidebar. Go down to the Thread Display Options section. Then change the 'Number of Posts to Show Per Page' to whatever you want.
