Gnome desktop refused to switch users
Hi all,
I was solving an audio playback problem on my machine today and mid-stream lost the ability to shift between one of my users. I have a total of three users. All combination of switching are available but one i.e. when in "user 1"... I cannot switch to user 2. If you select "user 2" in the Gnome desktop using the mouse nothing happens. All other menu selections are working normally. If I switch to "user 3" then to "user 2", I can switch back to "user 1" but... once in "user 1", cannot switch back to "user 2".

I'm running Jaunty 9.04, on an Nvidia motherboard. I'm not to good at looking at system logs and could not see any system response when I made the faulty selection... maybe I'm not looking at the right place.

Anyone else had this problem? One more thing. I rebooted and I could switch from "user 1" to "user 2". But once "user2" was logged in -> I switched back to "user 1" and now could not switch back to "user2" again. Second time it happened.

John
