Hi,
I was following the explanations on installing oo.org 3.1 in ubuntu 9.04 and when I did the partial upgrade, it was saying that it was going to uninstall a bunch of older programs.
One was Totem and I wasn't sure if there would be a newer version and didn't want to lose it (just in case), so I clicked on that one and then on the button KEEP. I thought I could say which one to keep individually but I saw that this was not the case. It kept ALL the programs (and Open Office 2 was one of them).
So, now, I can't install the newer version and would like to know if there is a way that I could redo that Partial Upgrade command and get to uninstall all those older versions from the computer, in order to install newer ones.
Thank you.
Stephane
