After uninstalling Ubuntu to reinstall it, I found that the allocated hard disk space for Ubuntu is still allocated. So, I tried to format the partition, but I could not format it since the Computer management program just said that "Window cannot format the system partition on this disk"

Do you have any idea on this?

Thanks

Wipe the disk and start off with a clean slate.

Download the free version of Active@Killdisk. It's slow but sure.

or use gparted. You can download it or use the liveCD.

EDIT : was ubuntu a solo install or was it a WUBI install?

Active Kill Disk cannot kill the partition.

I am attaching a screenshot of the Active Kill Disk Window.

Can you tell me how to remove the hidden files in D driver as showing the image attached?

Thanks.

You need to removed the extended part first.

Use Gparted or if you like to do things to old dirty way use FreeDOS and fdisk
