Reading today 30th June 09 that Apple have shifted focus to challenge main rivals Microsoft??? by dropping the price of Snow Leopard to $29 upgrade and Microsoft Windows 7 will be $49 upgrade, The problem is Bad Apple and Broken Windows can't beat Linux price, also Bad Apple has droped their Prices on their phones existing 3G iPhone with 8GB to $99.

Apple also announced that hundreds of dollars in price cuts for the Macbook Pro and Air line of laptops. The top-end super-slim Air notebook is being reduced by $700 from $2,499 to $1,799.

It is said that both companies money tree orchards have been sabotaged, sprayed with FOSS Anti Proprietary control by Linux Communities. Both companies are now rushing to get their dying Proprietary Products to market in time for the high sales season, to keep control of their market share :lolflag:

Is FOSS the culprit? for reducing the Green Back money fruits
Are Linux Communities to Blame and what can these companies do [-o<

Cool, im glad to hear that W7 upgrades are cheap, i still intend to upgrade Vista, i need Windows, but i would rather not have Vista hogging my HDD.

Ubuntu still kicks Windows' *** though :)

So, you think they're lowering their prices because they're afraid of getting taken over by Linux? lol

you must be right!!! a desktop OS with a 1% market share made MS and Apple cover in fear and drop their prices!!!!
it couldn't be that the US is going through a huge economic recession and consumer spending is dropping. oh , wait....
