I Have A Ubuntu 5.10 Install CD .

Will Wubi Be Able Install Ubuntu 5.10 ?

Please Suggest A QWubi Version

Since you are askig the question I assume it is very difficult for you to get hold of a new install CD or cd image.

I cannot answer your question because I dont know if Wubi can install 5.10. What I like to say that 5.10 is a very old Ubuntu release. I does not have any supported updates (official support ended april 13th 2007. It does not have any supported upgrade paths.

Try to get hold of a newer install cd before trying to install. 8.04 LTS or 9.04 recommended.

I agree with netJackDaw: Ubuntu 5.10 is very very old and not supported anymore. Not so useful to install that.

If you want proceed with 5.10 anyway, why not just try Wubi with 5.10? That will cost you a few minutes to check, which is much faster and a more reliable proof than asking.

And report back your experience here so that others can benefit ... :P
