I feel like a really dumb newbie. I want to schedule a task using gnome scheduler. I just want Gpodder to start up a midnight. at 2:50 am I want gpodder itself down. my ISP allows me free downloads during that time frame.

I assume I can have on task that is simply "gpodder" at midnight

then have another that says "killall gpodder" at 2:50

if I creat the task for gpodder and then execute it, it opens gpodder but if I create to curn at a certain time, and then close the scheduler and wait, it never runs it. it acts like it does but nothing happens. some please help me with this.... Thanks
