Hello @all,

I am thinking about becoming a member of the Linux Foundation. As far as I understood, for private people it costs 99 Euros per year which is not too much.

For that you get a T-shirt and a @Linux.com mail-account. And some discounts on books and also for the entrance to some conferences and fairs and so on.

So I wonder, if I should go for it. But I think I will not attend conferences and fairs so much... as I am no developer and I don't know what to do on such a conference or fair...
Maybe I will buy some books....

So I just wanted to ask, who of you is member of the Linux Foundation and why? And does it make sense for the "Joe Average"-user to be a member?

Thanks in advance
Steffen
