Hello, I'm looking for a cheap TV tuner car Card. I've never used one before, so I have a few questions.

1. Are there any cheap cards that work with Ubuntu?
2. Do I need a high end graphic card?
3. can I run it on a virtual machine if it doesn't work with Ubuntu?

Also, the tuner card has a tux sticker on it!

I wouldn't buy a tuner CARD!

Instead you should buy a tuner USB-stick. They are cheaper, and will work in your next machine or laptop or anywhere.

Alright guys, got myself a Frontech external tuner card. I had to connect the monitor to the device instead of my CPU. Its working fine so far, but the screen is very blurry. Is it safe to disconnect the box while the computer is still running and redirect the output to the CPU?
