Hola tralala.

Lo importante es saber qué has hecho en tu sistema, si has seguido algún tutorial dinos cuál, si has instalado algo, dinos qué.

saludos ):P

Has lo siguiente;

dpkg -l | grep xserver-xorg-video-sis

Si lo tienes entonces haz esto:

lsmod | grep sis

Debería salirte algo similar a esto:

sis900
mii
sis_agp
agpgart

Si es así, entonces haz esto:

Intenta hacer esto para la configuración de las X;

sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.bak
sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf y déjalo similar a esto:

Y reinicias;

En el caso que el dpkg -l no te tire nada, intálalo de la siguiente manera;

sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-sis

Y reinicias.

sudo apt-get autoremove opera

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list y agrega lo siguiente;

deb http://deb.opera.com/opera testing non-free

Guarda y cierra y ejecuta;

sudo apt-get update

Dear SiS76x user, your machine is using a shared memory framebuffer.
Due to hardware limitations of the SiS chip in combination with the
AMD CPU, video overlay support is very limited on this machine. If you
experience flashing lines in the video and/or the graphics display
during video playback, reduce the color depth and/or the resolution
and/or the refresh rate. Alternatively, use the video blitter.
