Hi,
I'm hoping someone who happens by this thread might know something that can help me find a fix. I filed a bug in launchpad (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kubuntu-meta/+bug/393268) too, but am actually hoping there is a workaround or something rather than have to wait for a future release.
I am impressed with the advanced in KDE4 since 8.10 but need the keyboard inputs to work for me to transition my work computer over, too.
