View Full Version : [ubuntu] No sound from LG DVD drive Jaunty 9.04

Have just installed ubuntu on a new upgrade box. Totem movie player can play .wmv files perfectly including sound. When trying to play DVDs using either Totem or MPlayer the video is good but no sound.

Drive details: LG GH-22LS30 22X Internal SATA DVD Rewriter

Used command alsamixer -Dhw and all volumes are turned up.

Will supply the output of lshw if that helps. Thanks.
