When 9.04 first came out I upgraded my laptop from 8.04 to 9.04 and noticed that my battery life was horrible. Then i noticed that the KDE4 process had one of my 2 cores pegged at 99 to 100%. I reinstalled 9.04 from scratch and everything was fine. I finally got around to upgrading my desktop as well and the exact same thing's happening. I really don't feel like reinstalling this system as well. Any thoughts?
