View Full Version : [ubuntu] Is there a solution to the Initramfs problem on startup?

I have just rebooted the computer because synaptec asked for it, and I just could not get into Ubuntu proper. It kept reporting that sys booting from 3fb...(hd0,0) ext 3 does not exist. It gave a revalidation error (errorno=2). Just now I tried ALT-sysRQ-U to remount all filesystems in r/o mode and it loaded without the initramfs dropout. Is there a solution to this initramfs -busybox problem?

Using Intrepid
