Although I'm fairly new to linux, I recently ran update manager's automatic updates, not even paying attention to what they were.
Once I rebooted, Ubuntu would get to the loading screen, then flake out on me. I read a few pieces on other forums, such as solutions like recovery mode and
sudo swapoff /dev/...
" mkswap /dev/...
" update-initramfs -u
but to no avail. Any good tips on bringing jaunty back to life?
