I recently got a new widescreen plasma TV with Freeview Digital TV built in. Whilst going through the menu system I found the software licence option.
The licence says that that "this product utilizes the following so call 'open source' software".
The software is licensed under the GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE and the GNU LESSER GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE.
Licence also refers to the following website:
http://www.am-linux.jp/dl/EUIDTV7 (the link appears dead btw)
One example of embedded linux.
