ubuntu messed up windows, so i deleted the windows partion, and booted from a live cd and made it a NTFS file saving system or w/e. But now when i try installing windows xp from my Dell disk, I get this error:

However, this disk does not contain a windows xp-compatible parition.

This happened after I installed ubuntu, and I am dual booting and have two hard drives.

If anyone would be kind enough to help, I would be grateful, thank you.

did you format the hard drive?

or try to install on the ubuntu filesystem

I guess I did, since it did contain windows, but it was broken, so I deleted it with gparted, and made the disk NTFS, and now i get this error. I've been reading all I can on this from other forums, and stuff, and they say, it could be an error because I have multiple drives.
