Hi,

I just want to boot to usb key (in which I copied ubuntu) and this motherboard [http://my.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=149&l3=642&l4=0&model=2078&modelmenu=1] (http://my.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=149&l3=642&l4=0&model=2078&modelmenu=1%5D) does not boot in usb key, altought it detects the usb key, but in the booting, no ubuntu appears.

I need it because I have no DVD installed.

Anyone knows if this motherboards does not support usb key booting? I use unetbooting to write ubuntu to usb key.

Regards,
Xan.

did you change your BIOS to boot from usb? when booting up there should be an option like f10 or something to allow you to enter the BIOS and make changes. the message will be only momentary so be fast. you might want to check with button works for you ahead of time.

Yes, I modify the BIOS for booting from usb.
It seems BIOS reads usb but it's thinking.....
I will try F10.... and i say to you.

Thans a lot,
Xan.
