i dont have internet connection at home.But can download packages at work.I cant satisfy dependencies when compiling from source.
Even when installing debian packages i get numerous dependency errors.
Is there any place to get small software in a single package
Is there any place to get single debian file with all dependencies bundled
The ubuntu and debian sites have ascading dependancies

I have the same problem, it has been suggested on Brainstorm.Ubuntu.com that some system would be put in place but it was largely ignored.

*Hypothetically* (Do not try this) you could replace the files that describe the state of your packages on your machine that has internet with the same files from your other computer and somehow query a download but not install... But I'm not sure that this would work and I don't know how to only download using apt. (As opposed to downloading and installing)
