In the good old days, the OP of a thread could use an option in Thread Tools to mark a thread as [SOLVED]. Well, that particular Thread Tool no longer exists... but there is still something we can do.

I have started to use the Edit Tags function to add a tag saying 'solved' to threads that are solved. The great thing is, anyone can do this - you dont need to be the OP to add a tag. So, who wants to join me in this grand crusade to tag all solved threads as solved?

I'll only do it if I am 100% sure the problem has been solved.
You may not want to mark a thread as solved when it isn't as then people will stop checking that thread out.

actually... how do you do that?
I cannot find it.

Of course. The last thing you'd want is your thread marked 'solved' when it isn't solved. But it is often pretty apparent when it is solved - a solution is given, the OP says 'Thanks, that solved my problem.' It would be better if all OPs marked their solved threads as 'solved'. But we all know that isn't going to happen.

man Im blind... I searched for few minutes without seeing it... -.-

So the tag stripe is only visible when you are reading the thread, not when answering it, and it is the last stripe before Quick reply.
