eeebuntu 9.04 webcam on 1000 he

I've just installed eeebuntu 3.0 nbr dual booted with xp on my new 1000 he. After a bit of struggling everything works fine except the webcam. When I turn on Skype and go to Preferences and go to the Video page it says no device is found.

Right click network icon
then Enable webcam
