Hi guys,

As can be seen, I'm really new to Ubuntu. I'm trying to install TinyOS 1.1.15 on Ubuntu Gutsy (why Gutsy, long story :). I have managed to remove most of the compilation errors, only a few errors are remaining. This can be removed if I rebuild the nesC package. The package I have from : http://www.tinyos.net/dist-1.1.0/tinyos/linux/
The link specifies an rpm package. I converted it into a .deb package using alien -d -c.
I also have a patch:c-parse.gperf.patch.

I needed instructions as to how to rebuild a .rpm(or .deb) package with the patch.

Thanks and regards,
Bharat Naik.
