i downloaded the latest vlc 1.0 from net(which is not latest version available in repositories)i was bumped at ./configure stage requesting for an upgraded dbus.but what i found out after googling was not encouraging.the blogs warned that the upgraded dbus was not compatitble and wil crash the system.is the bug resolved?can i upgrade dbus now without crashing?
if yes how can i upgrade dbus from terminal?
