When I add a Character Palette to my panel, it works fine, except that any time I right-click it, it disappears and I get this window pop up with a picture of a "!" sign:

Error
"Character Palette" has quit unexpectedly
If you reload a panel object, it will
automatically be added back to the panel.
[Don't Reload] [Reload]

Therefore, I can only get a character palette with the default settings.

Can anyone help?

PS: I notice that after disappearing, the applet is replaced by a line similar to a seperator, except slightly thinner, but it moves out of the way when I move another applet on top of it, as if it were an applet. But I cannot right click this line. If I click "Reload", it disappears to be replaced by the character palette, and if I click "Don't Reload", it just disappears.

I've checked my other applets: the system monitor also has this error, and none of the others do.

Please, does anyone have any input? I couldn't find any threads with a solution, but if I'm missing smoething, please point me in the right direction.

Thanks!
