After installing today's upgrades, I am unable to see the login screen or my GNOME desktop. I can still login (because I know the steps) and everything sounds like the startup programs launch, but I don't receive any visual feedback. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+F[2-9] to switch to a text-based terminal also fails, causing my computer to reboot.
My graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 3450 256MB PCI-Express x16
Is anyone else having this problem? Better yet, does anyone have a solution?
