l will be doing a fresh install for a friend and need a guide as to what software packages l will need for him to use ubuntu trouble free, l don't want him having prob's being a newbie to linux,l have been useing ubuntu for yrs and can't remember half the thing's l've installed, a list would be very nice please, i.e shockwave,compix,ect,cheers.
